With ventilated premium leather seat, leather steering wheel, leather passenger seat and carpeted floors, experience comfort at its highest level.
Take your seat in the large, luxurious, operator-oriented, suspended cab of the Optum AFS Connect, accessed via spot-lit, generously sized steps and a 33% larger doorway.
This is no ordinary tractor seat – this is a throne for the Masters of Agriculture. The butter-soft red leather and camel upholstered seat is heated and ventilated, keeping you cool on balmy summer days and cosy in those nippy winter months, when nothing quite beats a warm bum!
The controls have been placed with your comfort and accessibility in mind. Even the optimised Multicontroller armrest (from which you can control all the important functions of your machine) can be adjusted for height and length, to suit your personal needs. If you prefer to operate the old-fashioned way rather than using the touch pad, manual knobs, switches and buttons are neatly hidden beneath a hinged upholstered cover.
And…to make this spaceship really feel like home, it even comes with 5V USB ports, 12V power outlets, 230V power supply and 4.1 sound system with excellent radio and powerful subwoofer, so you can charge your devices, listen to your favourite farming podcast and blare those classic power ballads until your heart’s content. And it’s almost like wearing noise cancelling headphones as external noise levels are extremely low at 66dB(A) and won’t interfere with the all-important acoustics.
Did we mention the smart and practical storage space? Including, but is not limited to, an optional cooling box under the co-driver seat! Keep your sandwiches fresh and your beers cool on even the longest of hot summer days. (0% alcohol of course.)
Your kingdom. What better view?
There’s a lot of glass in this cab, making it lighter, brighter, and giving you better visibility of your glorious surroundings.
Heated, electronically telescoping mirrors are controlled from inside the cab, because this just makes sense and is long overdue.
Steamy windows are a sure-fire way to spoil the view, not to mention a ‘pane’ in the behind. (See what I did there?) The ventilation system in the Optum cabs has been improved so your windows stay clear, whatever the weather.
When wet weather strikes, (as it so often does up in the north of Scotland) the front windscreen wiper has been relocated to the base of the windscreen and now sweeps a 20% larger screen area, improving your view out the front window. Handy.
Front and rear cameras come as standard in the Active Leather package. If you really wanted to pimp your ride and ensure the best overview of your surroundings, a wireless camera is also available which could, for example, be mounted on an implement to transmit video directly to your AFS Pro 1200 high-definition, customisable, touchscreen monitor with the latest Vision Pro software, so you’re always in control, even when using large implements in confined spaces.
The AFS Connect system and touchscreen monitor offers a new level of connectivity, allowing you take the driver’s view with you wherever you may roam. Monitor your fleet’s activity from your phone, desktop or iPad and keep a wary eye on the goings on whilst being able to access and leverage the data that your machines are generating to make informed management decisions on the go.
Every Hour Counts
You’re no stranger to working with limited visibility, as you start well before the rest of the population and often don’t hit the hay until the wee hours.
The Optum is fitted with up to 22 powerful LED headlights, illuminating 360° around your tractor, giving you the best view of your implements and surroundings. The ‘follow-me-home’ function lights your way home even after leaving the cab, so you won’t trip over your collie on your way in for dinner.
Peace of Mind
The Optum AFS Connect comes with the option of a remote key fob, so you can lock and unlock your ride just like a state-of-the-art sports car, or most vehicles manufactured after the 21st century for that matter.
Fobs can be allocated to each individual user, and as the cab is entered the preferred settings for that driver are automatically applied. No more fiddling about with seat height and joystick set up each time.
Once active, the immobilizer anti-theft system will need to detect the key fob before you can start the ignition. No key = No start = No theft.
